Vance Miller founded ADVANCE Data Services in September 1997. Prior to AdVance Data Services, Vance was VP of Real Estate Information Services for Einstein Noah Bagel Corp.  Vance designed, developed and maintained the real estate development and market planning systems for Boston Chicken, Inc.and Einstein/Noah Bagel Corp.  These systems helped Boston Chicken grow to 1,200 stores in four years and Einstein's to grow to 550 stores in two years.  Vance also served as Director of Real Estate Information Services for Boston Chicken.  Vance has designed custom databases in programs such as MS Access and Lotus Notes. He has extensive experience in MapInfo, MS Excel and also in Site Modeling.

Vance was a commercial real estate broker prior to joining Boston Chicken.  His real estate background allows him to continuously keep an eye on the business use of the programs he creates.

Vance has a degree in Finance and Investments from Babson College in Wellesley. MA

Vance has exhibited proven leadership abilities from an early age.  He was class president each of his four years at the Pembroke Hill School in Kansas City, Mo.  He was also captain of his highschool basketball and baseball teams and managing editor of the yearbook. 

At Babson College in Wellesley, MA, Vance was elected as class Executive Vice President.  He was also selected as a Resident Assistant and a Resident Director.  Vance graduated with Distinction from Babson College in three years and was a member of the Cardinal Key National Honor Society.  He played baseball his freshman year of college.  Babson has been ranked for several years as the number one business specialty school in the country by US News and World Reports.

Vance served as Assistant Vice President at Henry S Miller Commercial Realtors in Dallas, TX where he worked from 1990 to 1993.  In 1993, Vance was hired as Manager of Real Estate Services with Boston Chicken Inc in Chicago and helped build a real estate infrastructure that enabled phenomenal growth.  Vance was with Boston Chicken, Inc and its sister company Einstein Noah Bagel Corp in Denver, Colorado until October of 1997.  He left as Vice President of Real Estate Information Services after also having served as Director of Structured Reporting. 

In October of 1997 Vance was the founder and president of AdVance Data Services in Los Angeles, CA.  AdVance Data specializes in Market Research and Demographic Analysis for expanding retailers across the country.  AdVance Data allows retailers to outsource the real estate research function that is typically done in house.  Some of the more prominent retailers that are listed as customers for AdVance are Kinkos, Sonic, Boston Chicken, Einstein Bros Bagels, Eckerd Drugs, Chevy’s Restaurants, Luby’s Cafeteria, Davita Renal Care, and Trammell Crow Company.  AdVance Data Services relocated from Los Angeles to Dallas, TX in April of 2000 and still operates from Dallas today.
